Ian Cuming is 3D and motion graphic artist with over fifteen years experience both as a freelancer and as an in house design creative at high profile companies. His craft includes photorealistic modeling, abstract imagery, audiovisual synchronization, illustration and design.
 
Following a fine art degree (BA, hons) and an MA in visual communication, Ian went on to work as an artistic editor at Digital vision for 2 years, then freelanced the next 4 years creating several motion graphics titles for Getty images, Artbeats, and Exceeda. This led him to work full time as a 3D artist with Lightmaker, then to Electric Picture Company designing and creating blueray DVD menu’s. He has now set up his own studio in Brighton where he works on a variety of projects.
 
His high quality work has earned him several awards, including a winning 3D illustration for ATI and 3D world magazine, a Promax television award, and being featured on well known album covers such as Orbital, Kings of Leon and Sky plus.
 
Clients over the years have included: Nike, Cadburies, Pioneer, Sony, MTV, Nickelodeon, Channel4, Discovery, Smirnoff, Budweiser, Sci-Fi Channel, Manchester united, Peroni, Microsoft, Eidos, EA games, JK Rowling, Emap, Yamaha, Pepsi, and Lego.
